The frequency of natural disasters has been increasing over the past two decades. Despite increased investment and advances in hazard-management technology, human and economic losses from disasters have been rising worldwide.

 This speaker series, in partnership with Pratt Institute, will bring in experts and activists to talk about how the state of disaster relief, and to move our communities beyond crises. This first event will feature Dayna Cunningham speaking about Participatory Action Research in the context of disaster relief.
