Textile Scrap Workshop: Design Challenge!
Are you a designer who loves a creative challenge? Do you ever think about upcycling and reducing waste, or how to give new life to discarded materials? Do you want a chance to win $100?If so, Materials for the Arts (MFTA) is looking for YOU!
In partnership with the NY Department of Sanitation, MFTA has launched a textile scrap reuse project and is seeking creative design ideas from Parsons students. Come for a night of fun at this interactive and exploratory workshop led by MFTA, where you'll be charged with creating a design idea using their collection of textile scraps and materials. Up to 5 cash prizes will be awarded to the best design ideas!All materials (and snacks) will be provided, all you need to bring is your creativity and your inspiration. Please RSVP.
