"Disobedience" by New School Alumnus Kelly Nyks Making World Premiere

Disobedience, the sequel to Disruption, which premiered at The New School for the People's Climate March, is making its world premiere in a special screening of the pilot of this six-part series at DGA Theater, located at 110 W 57th Street on Friday, April 29 at 8:00 PM.Disobedience is the story of the struggle to save the world. Disobedience tells the David vs Goliath tales of front line leaders around the world risking life and limb in the fight for a liveable future.Interwoven with this riveting verité footage are the most renowned voices in the global conversation around social movements and  justice for a series that is personal, passionate and powerful.Kelly Nyks, one of Disobedience's filmmakers at PF Pictures, is an alumnus of The School of Drama at The New School.View the trailer at https://vimeo.com/163752414All premiere proceeds will go to 350.org to build the movement for climate justice.
