Design Strategies Student Vanya Mittal Wins Design Competition for Car Free Earth Day

 Vanya Mittal, MS Candidate Strategic Design and Management, won a logo competition for the upcoming Car Free Earth Day, an upcoming initiative from Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, aimed at re-imagining how we move about the city and how we can lessen our collective impact on the environment as the largest city in the country.Her logo appeared as the flyer logo for Car Free Earth Day's Unveiling Event.Vanya's logo presented above presents different ways to commute in besides cars in NYC from public transportation to skateboarding and leaving their cars parked away.
