Call for Volunteers: Beach 41st Community Planting Day
Join us as we head outdoors after the school year is over. Volunteer at the B41 Community Garden Planting Day, a project led by TEDC Associate Director, Victoria Marshall. We will plant over 800 plants, creating a new garden and community space for residents to gather and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings, including the gorgeous view of Jamaica Bay.This project is in partnership with residents from Beach 41st Houses, NYCHA, the US Forest Service, Till Design and with key support from NYC Parks, NYRP, and the TKF Foundation.You can select a time slot that works best for you.
